It reads patterns, not just symptoms. In up to 30 minutes, I’ll share what I’m seeing in yours, and what you might do about it.
What this is
A short, focused video call of up to 30 minutes. You tell me what’s going on, I ask a handful of targeted questions and look at your tongue photo. You leave with a working impression of your pattern in plain language, plus one or two practical suggestions on food, sleep and daily rhythm.
No commitment
It’s a one-off. There’s no obligation to book anything afterwards, and I won’t chase you. If it’s useful, you’ll know how to take it further. If not, you’ve had a clear look at your pattern and something practical to try.
What it isn’t
Not a full consultation, and no herbs or prescriptions at this stage. Without a pulse, this is a working impression, not a definitive diagnosis. It doesn’t replace medical care — if something needs a doctor, I’ll say so.
How it works
- Book a time for your snapshot.
- Complete the short intake form (about 5 minutes), including a tongue photo, at least 24 hours before we meet.
- I read your form beforehand, and let you know if a snapshot isn’t the right route.
- We meet by video for up to 30 minutes.
- Afterwards you’re free to go. If you’d like to go further, I’ll outline what a full consultation involves, with no pressure either way.

Who you’ll be seeing
I’m a qualified acupuncturist, currently completing my clinical training in Chinese herbal medicine. All consultations are online, so you can join from wherever you are.

A one-off, no-commitment session. Book a time and complete the short intake form at least 24 hours before we meet. A small fee keeps the session focused for both of us, and it’s credited in full if you choose to go on to a consultation. If you don’t, you’re free to go your own way.

1. Is this a full consultation?
No. It’s a focused session of up to 30 minutes: a working impression of your pattern and a few practical suggestions. A full consultation involves a longer, more detailed case history.
2. Will I receive herbs?
No. A snapshot stays with pattern and lifestyle. If you’d like to explore herbal treatment, we can talk about that in a full consultation.
3. How can you assess without taking my pulse?
Online, I can’t. Instead I rely on your detailed answers, your tongue photo and what I can observe on video. That’s enough for a working impression of your pattern, though not a definitive diagnosis.
4. What if I’m pregnant or taking medication?
Please tell me on the form. A snapshot offers lifestyle-level suggestions only, and I’ll flag anything worth checking with your doctor or pharmacist.
5. What if a snapshot isn’t a good fit?
After reading your form, I may suggest a different route, such as seeing your doctor first. I’ll tell you before we meet.
6. Is there any commitment afterwards?
None. A snapshot is a one-off. You’re free to go afterwards, and I won’t chase you. If it feels useful and you’d like to go further, I’ll outline what a full consultation involves, and your £10 is credited if you book within 7 days.
7. Is my information confidential?
Yes. Your form and photo are used only to prepare your snapshot, kept in a private account, and deleted within 30 days unless we continue working together. The one exception is where there is a serious risk to your safety or someone else’s, or where I’m legally required to disclose.
