Wild Plum Learning Library

Welcome to the Wild Plum Learning Library

A growing collection of introductory educational videos and resources designed to expose you to core fundamental concepts in the Wild Plum approach. Each video is an invitation to explore the principles beneath the forms: Qi flow, Yin balance, seasonal rhythms, and the art of Chinese medicine applied to daily life.

These concepts are explored in depth in our trainings.

1. Built Different - The Structural Truth About Movement

Most people aren’t tight in yoga and stretching. They’re structured different. In this talk, I challenge one of the biggest assumptions in modern training/yoga/movement: that there is one correct way for every body to move.

Informed by over two decades of anatomical study and teacher training, I explore why bone structure — not effort — often determines range of motion. When we stop forcing bodies into averages, training becomes intelligent. Effort becomes precise. And progress becomes sustainable.

For teachers. For trainers. For thinkers. Because injury is not opinion.

Health is.

This subject is explored in detail in my 200hr Yin Yoga & Variable Anatomy Training.
