TEACHING

Practice - Theory - Teach

Ancient Sets, Radically Modern Teaching

Classical sets are how QiGong masters passed down their wisdom. It is also where rigidity becomes the norm. In this program you'll learn some amazing sets (see below) but taught without 1950s human ergonomics (or 1850s). These revitalised sets are your link to the skills of the past masters and a future practice of freedom and health.

My approach focuses on Functional QiGong, the importance of feeling Qi flow through our bodies rather than what it looks like. Methodology includes the Qi for 2 drill, the 5-phases of practice, target areas of exercises, and the 3 principles of practice.

But! Sets don't tell the whole story.

It's the methodology that really makes my program unique.

My style focuses on Functional QiGong, the importance of feeling Qi flow through our bodies rather than what it looks like. To achieve this, we have many methods:

  • the Qi 4 2 drill,
  • the 5-Phases of Practice,
  • Target Areas of Exercises, and
  • the 3 Principles of Practice.

Whatever style you're practicing, I propose your teacher should be able to articulate the features that it can offer you, not just have you learn sets.
